'How We Raise Our Boys' Evaluation

'Parivartan' Evalutation

Sector/Project Description: "Parivartan" is the personality development program of Deepstambh Manobal, which provides online and offline training to children with disabilities, orphans and economically underprivileged students.

Methods: Through the Most Significant Change approach, 119 stories were collected from students on the domains of change, which were then analyzed by an evaluation group of stakeholders in "Parivartan".

Fathers and Early Childhood Development

Sector/Project Description: Investigating parental engagement dynamics, understanding fathers’ familial relationships, their attitude towards and involvement in early childhood development, and their own aspirations, concerns, self-perceptions and influences, so as to identify opportunities for them to be easily involved in their children’s learning.

Methods: Research team interviewed a total of 152 fathers of children in their early years with 73 in rural areas and 79 in urban areas. An almost equal number of fathers of boys (77) and girls (75) were interviewed.

Sector/Project Description: Mobile education platform to train gherkin farmers—mostly women—in improved agricultural practices by equipping field officers with digital tools and locally relevant videos for consistent, practical guidance to enhance farmers’ skills/knowledge. The initiative aims to boost productivity and crop quality, reduce income uncertainty, and strengthen equitable relationships between farmers and suppliers.
